The Milwaukee CT Firmware Team is looking for a software engineer for Python Test Automation and migration from version 2 to version 3 for real-time control software for our industry-leading Computed Tomography (CT) Scanners. The engineer will work with and take direction from the Lead/Senior Firmware Engineers for this project. Activities will include
Implementation and execution of automated tests in our Python-based automated test framework
conversion and execution of existing manual tests to automated tests in our Python-based automated test framework
migration of product, test and development scripts and code from Python version 2.x to version 3.x for compatibility with SLES 15 SP3
Skills Required:
- Experience with software configuration management and build tools: ClearCase, Git, Jenkins
- Experience with Linux/SLES 15 environment
- Experience with C/C++, Python programing
- Experience with unit testing, verification testing and automated test management
- Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Experience with Rally and working in an Agile planning and execution environment
